That's a pity. I believe several of us have booked non-refundable fares. Shall we plan an alternative lunch somewhere?

I have booked accommodation etc for the Quay lunch would like to do something as an alternative.

I will be in Sydney on the 11 and 12 August, I am going for a run on the 12 August so if anyone wants to suggest something, "Haydensydney"

Who ( how many) is / are going on the day? What day did you want to have lunch?
Saturday? Sunday?
I need a quick status run just need 10 SC's before my NZ trip.
So lunch works for me. Likely to do a down and back in one day though.
Saturday or Sunday suits.

Has anyone been to felix on the ivy.

I'm flying up and back to SYD on the 12th and would love to meet with you all for a meal.

Looks like there are five of us so far and some suggestions for a restaurant. Looks like we have a plan.

5 is a good number. 6 is better.

So the question now is where do we meet?
May I suggest we look for something that is a great location , good ambiance and not fuss too much about food? Wines not withstanding .
I can't claim any great knowledge of the Sydney scene, but I can only assume there are a range of great locations that are not too difficult to get to , and are within reasonable distance of the airport.
I haven't booked flights yet , so I a looking to hear some ideas and see them locked in

While Batthers is good will be a mission to get there for those of us flying in. Cafe Sydney will have the location and view of the Harbour. In my research some of the others I would recommend are not open for Sunday lunch.

Cafe syd is a good all round choice considering you have fly ins.

My other suggestion would be Oyster Bar right on the Harbour, Opera House side of Circular Quay. It is a fully outdoor venue (heated umbrellas) so not so good if it's raining. Food is good, extensive wine list.
