The promo turns up around once a year when Bose releases a new product that it wants to push. I think I've done the promo with Bose QC 3, QC 15 and now their BT device! It's a pita I'm not in the US where I can get the bonus points for trying out the headphones!

Thanks Lindsay. I only have a very small balance which would have gone belly-up in April. In fact, the balance ends with 150 which makes me think it may have been an initial joining promotion and then something like this.

Still, small as it was, I did fret a bit about losing it and was thinking of crediting something like a Hertz rental but now won't have to

I was going to wait until the last moment as I had some activity with AAdvantage when on an AA Q class fare last September (First EQM's/EQP's ever ) giving a good extension already.

Hoever, this promotion expires in a week on the 17th January 2011, so I went ahead and gained another 3 months.

While poking to find the AA FF number around I discovered the 'your miles are expiring' email for my other half with an expiry date of 04/07/2011 (which i assume is American for April) so this will keep it active just in time

Actually found this posted on another FF Forum I frequent (but not FT ).

I really needed it for my wife's best friend; who had 48,600 points expiring in April.

Like many here, it's an easy 150 points that solve a need to post a hotel or car hire to AA.
