Is the peppercorn the sauce? Does it feel very peppery?
It’s not too peppery. Just enough spice for my liking. It’s quite creamy in a good restaurant way but not swimming in sauce.

Ok thanks. Any other BTC you can recommend SYD-SIN-SYD?

At risk of causing WWIII, I am going to un-recommend the lobster thermidor. Last two times I had it it was rubbery and tasted weird - like mild bleach. CSM noticed I hadn't finished it and said something along the lines of "it hasn't been good lately"

Thanks. I will avoid that then. Wonder if I should try the roast duck or don't bother.

Yikes! I was keen to book SQ J for the lobster, it's too sad to hear that it's been deteriorating :(

What about the seafood thermidor though?

Any more recent info on the BTC lobster. I enjoyed it but that is now too long ago.

Well CE it is for my son’s partner. She is really excited as my son booked the two of them in business class to London using some of Mrscove’s miles that were approaching expiry. I thought about changing it to Suites on the way over but that might create a monster problem later on.
I booked the other sons GF in business class recently so doing the same seems quite fair.
Lucky I have only two sons is what I am thinking.
Yes you are correct that if the lobster is a dud then a second pick would be in order.

Although it's in the previous 12 cabin version, got my first Suites experience coming up soon.
Will Definitely have to try having the Kyo Kaiseki for breakfast and save the Lobster Thermidor for TPR.

You might need to re-thing that - reports are Lobster off menu in TPR - I will be there Thu nt / Fri morn - will post menu then.

CE, I arrive F SYD - SIN around 0400 and will be looking for breakfast and 2 flat whites. Am I able to see the TPR breakfast menu somewhere? It seems to not open until 0530 though.

My youngest son has changed his outward journey to Suites with his partner so I think he may be heading for a life time of scrambling to keep the Kris Miles growing. One conversation with the son’s partner and she has started her own Kris Miles journey. So I guess that may create another warped frequent flyer fiend.
My eldest son cannot get his partner enrolled as she is ineligible for Australian credit cards as she has been studying here as a foreign student. Her status should change in the next couple of years.
Our new business manager made the minimum spend on his new credit card in less than a week.

Can't she set up a term deposit of, say $500, with a bank and get the branch manager authorise a credit card of similar limit? That is how I started when I was on student visa some 30 years ago (albeit I think it was about $200 in my case).

Unless you can find a pic posted some time back you won't be able to see TPR Menu as it is not posted online - just front up on arrival and they will look after you
