Pretty sure the T&Cs didn’t stipulate the flights had to be booked during the promo period.

I'm being conservative:

*Promotion is available between 12:01am AEST 29 January 2024 to 11:59pm AEST 28 March 2024 (inclusive) (Promotion Period).

To be eligible for the Velocity Frequent Flyer bonus Status Credits promotion, travellers must, during the Promotion Period:

1. Be a member of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program;
2. Activate this offer in the Velocity App or via a link contained within an email sent to the Velocity member;
3. Book two or more Eligible Flights , and add their Velocity membership number to the bookings before travel; and
4. Fly on the Eligible Flights.

Bonus Status Credits are tiered according to the number of flights booked and flown within the Promotion Period. The bonus Status Credits will be awarded at the conclusion of the campaign based on the total flights flown during the Promotion Period as set out below:

• 1 Eligible Flight booked and flown during the Promotion Period = Nil Bonus Status Credits awarded.
• 2 Eligible Flights booked and flown during the Promotion Period = 45 Bonus Status Credits awarded.
• 3 Eligible Flights booked and flown during the Promotion Period = 65 Bonus Status Credits awarded.
• 4 Eligible Flights booked and flown during the Promotion Period = 85 Bonus Status Credits awarded.
• 5 Eligible Flights booked and flown during the Promotion Period = 105 Bonus Status Credits awarded.
• 6+ Eligible Flights booked and flown during the Promotion Period = 125 Bonus Status Credits awarded.

Yes, quite a few that was ticketed in early Jan but flown in Feb. Also had 2 Economy Lite fare in the eligible flights, didn’t affect the status credit’s posting at all.

Mine posted fine - 170 bonus sc for SYD-ADL return via MEL. .



Not as brilliant an offer as past promos, but they all help.

Still nothing on my end. Received my double points soon after. Worried activating that promo undid the status promo.

Still waiting on mine as well as 2 of last weeks flights. Only need 20 to Plat. Wish they'd hurry up. I've never waited this long for flight credits.

Mine have posted. One flight which was changed to direct, I had to chase up original routing credit which was posted. Should the bonus status credits apply to the original routing? Probably worth a call.

Still waiting for the bonus SC from flights in mid-February. I booked through an OTA rather than direct if that mattered, but I can't see anything on the T&C saying otherwise.

I am still waiting for mine too. I had two flights in March, and both were booked after the promo was activated, so there should be nothing in the way of my 45 bonus SCs.

My "Back to Business" bonus SCs have posted for mid March flights, also with an activity date of 29 March 2024.

Nothing here yet, I did 4 flights booked and flown in the promotion period - the last on March 8th, no bonus status credits landed at this stage.

Well, we're officially outside the 4 weeks and mine still haven't posted. Nor have my SC from 2 flex flights last week.

I had 7 legs during the promo period. All 7 were booked during the promo period after activating the promo. Mix of flex and choice fares. Last flight 14th of March.

I stand to change status from these SC. I wonder if they've ordered crediting the SC in a way to delay SCs for those who stand to gain the most?

Unlikely, knowing who stand to gain the most involves additional (and quite sophisticated) computation that goes beyond just calculating how many SC you are eligible for. And Bain is never going to pay a developer extra money to have that functionalitiy.

It's probably just a simple script that runs through everything for everyone and determine how many SC to post. It's probably not the best in terms of efficiency so they probably decided to do it in batches/rate limit or only run it at night when the load on the reservation system was low. It's probably a luck of the draw on which batch your account got placed into.
