I'm flying economy on QF 1 in November and am trying to decide what seat to select. I am travelling on my own (5 ft 6 woman) and am only a Bronze frequent flyer. As my flight is still a long way off I still have plenty of choices. For $30 I can still select 36 J or K, 48 A or 66 DEF or G . For $180 the following seats are showing as available 35 DEF J or K, 66 ABC or HJK, 71 D and 80 A or K.
I usually prefer an aisle seat as I hate having to ask people to get up so I can move, but I do like to be able to sleep against the window seat if I have an exit row with plenty of leg room and can move without disturbing people.
Given all that, which do you think is the best seat for me? Is it worth paying the extra $150 or would the $30 options listed be the best value?
Serfty, can you explain what you meant by your comment about 48A further back in the thread - I don't know what cowling means?
Thanks for the opinions.
