Wouldn't bother us either, going home Monday as we have to drive at the other end and both of us would like to keep our licence

Maybe an opportunity for a leisurely "light" supper to round off the day?
What time are you heading home Monday?

Plenty of room on the coach. There are only 25 PAX and I have organised a 48 seater coach

Not promised but trying to snag one with a loo and PA system, which could be dangerous.

And a karaoke

VA413 at 0900, so definitely up for a "light" supper to round off the Sunday :)

And a karaoke

Ooh, I have a couple of numbers I can rehearse for that

And I have my IPhone ready. Love writing a trip report with full photos and video. :D. All the more special after a Grange or samples.

Announcement Time!

As mentioned earlier this week I have an announcement to make.

With the assistance of QF WP, admin has given me the go ahead to hold a raffle during this event.
Admin has informed me that I must clearly state that Mrs. Buzzard or I do not make any money from the running of this raffle. In fact we have decided to abstain from taking part so that we do not have a chance of winning the prizes offered. The raffle will also be drawn by an impartial person, most likely the coach driver.

Only 23 tickets will be made available, effectively one each, cost of each ticket is $4.00 which will raise $92.00. Should anybody not wish to purchase a ticket, remaining tickets will be offered to the group. Again, Mrs. B and I are excluded.

First prize is a bottle of 2010 St. Henri valued at $80, second prize is a surprise but it is valued at $22.00.

I hope you all purchase a ticket as some lucky person will be taking home the booty.

I'll definitely be taking up that offer.

As will I, what an awesome idea!

In regards to karaoke; my winery tour in Napa the other week ended the same way, after pretty much every bottle was cracked open on the bus. I think I'm the only one that walked away with wine intact (and no singing for me either).

Very tact full. ;)

Put me down for a ticket, Buzzard.

I didn't think there would be many who wouldn't buy a ticket :D. We're both in for a ticket, but no singing unless the driver can push out the windscreen and still drive.

Buzz - Noted... from past experience leaving at 4, would make the 6pm flight too close to call. Which really means I should book the "last" flight out, rather than fly with my "associates" on the 18:00 departure.

Also, count me in for a lotto ticket :)

Two more tickets.

I don't actually like Shiraz  but I'm pretty much on my own there. I like soft and mellow.

So if I won it might not make the journey back on the bus unscathed. In which case the karaoke will be on in full swing and my phone streaming to the AFF website. ;)

I'm sure I could swap for a bottle of Merlot or two

I have called the coach company and made arrangements for the driver to return via the airport.
It is advisable that we still depart Penfolds by around 3.30 to ensure a 5.30 arrival as traffic heading towards the airport can get a bit busy on a Sunday evening.
As the return to Adelaide will most likely (pretty sure actually) take us past the 5.30 coach hire, would I be out of order suggesting those alighting at the airport sling the driver a few bucks (instead of a taxi fare) for his time and assistance?

Don't forget to bring any luggage with you if travelling to the airport.

That's fantastic Buzzard. Not out of order at all IMO.

Would you be out of order to suggest that - not on your nellie!!

Perhaps a nice bottle of Penfolds (after ascertaining his predilection ;)) or some $$ will be graciously handed over
