Update: Although it took closer to four months than two, I'm happy to report I have just been credited the 20000 bonus points to my QFF account.

I got mine today as well. From talking to them it is credited to the account 2 months after the first statement is issued and then they are posted to the QFF account on the next posting after that, not sure how oftwen they post but my two posting so far have been on the 5th of the month.

Yesterday (the 5th March) I noticed my Qantas account now shows c. $5,000 of points from what I've spent since I was issued the card on 23 Dec, with the first spend being around 5 Jan.

When should I expect the 20k bonus to arrive?

I agree. They say they'll call back and they do - the same person you spoke to last time! Even though it would be better to have no issues I am substantially less frustrated than I was with dealing with Virgin Flyer card's call centre, for example.

It is a very good product and so long as they sort out the bonus points, and keep the fee ~$100 p.a. I think this will be my long term non-Amex card rather than just an upfront point accumulator.

Already had a BW account, but wanted cc accumulating points. 1pt /$ not too terrible, and most attractive is the no foreign transaction fees. Wonder what the exchange rate is?

got approved for this plat card so will be moving my business here from WOW Everyday Rewards

Can anyone confirm if this card earns QFF points on ATO spend ?

Yes it did for us in late 2013 but watch the 200,000 points capping off $200,000 expenditure. Stay inside the limit.

I just got this card and put $199,000 of GST payments to the ATO on it in the first month but my statement shows that I have only accrued 50,000 points. I am pretty upset about that.
Korda.

Which card did you get? The classic level has an annual limit of 50,000 points (the gold is 66,667, and platinum is 200,000).

Well we went over the $200,000 limit on the BankWest Platinum Visa and only received the 200,000 points. That card is back on ice until August when the next year starts and we will be more careful in our third year.
Korda you can get one for your partner but make sure it is a platinum one.

Does anyone know if the new earn rates apply to existing customers?

I can see on the Bankwest website that the new QFF earn rate has been reduced to 0.75 per dollar. :(

Would be interested to find out, I have the platinum card. Haven't received any correspondence from
Bankwest advising of the change. Hoping it doesn't change for existing customers.
Last statement dated 30 April 2014 shows points per dollar spent 1

Wow you're right, its now 0.75 on the website. Guess if it applies to existing customers we'll see a change in the "points per dollar spent" field on subsequent statements. Although, I would expect some communication explicitly stating the change.

Might change to Citibank if 1pt/$1 is no longer offered at Bankwest.

Disappointing if that actually changes for everyone

thanks for all the replies.

I'm now hoping that no communications will ever arrive or get inserted on the next statement.

Terms and Conditions booklet has been updated today. From page 1 (and 6), looks like existing customers are fine.

Glad to see them grandfathering old cards. As someone who spends most of his time out of Australia, having a 1:1 QFF card with no forex fees and the MC exchange rate is brilliant.
