B2Bpay - where is the list of massive bonus billers

I'll give it a try for the 2,000 and 10,000 bonuses and then reconsider whether it's worthwhile on an ongoing basis...

Didn't the 2000 bonus finish a couple of days ago? The 10,000 one has been extended until the end of July so no rush for that one.

Was quite easy for me to get set up on B2Bpay, which has supplanted RewardPay as my choice service (the QF points did it); took all of two minutes, YMMV.
Maybe I should try again, sans vin rouge...

They've changed both dates.

Their home page indicated 15 May 2018 a couple of days ago (it can be seen using Google cache)

....but the QF site indicates 31 July (see my earlier post) and a reply to an email from B2BPay has confirmed that date.

Received an email from Qantas Business rewards yesterday: "Did you know that your business could be rewarded for everyday business transactions? Not only that, if you use B2Bpay or sign up to Live eftpos black you could be rewarded with thousands of bonus points." B2Bpay offer states "Sign up to B2Bpay and make $10,000 or more in payments before 31 July to earn 10,000 bonus points*. " I've signed up today will similarly use it for ATO spend this month and reconsider ongoing. An eclectic mix of businesses on there which are not relevant to me, however the option to add Billers may be worthwhile.

Got my bonus tranche of 20,000 points in my QBR account just last week from meeting the spend. IIRC this was an earlier promo with a higher points bonus, but yeah - works.

Thanks, that's good to know! Out of interest what card did you use?

Hi mbeder, that's right - the 10,000 Bonus Qantas Points offer ends 31 July. The ATO is a really popular biller (because of the full credit card points and the additional Qantas Points) and you can also pay payroll tax, super, etc. to get the same benefit. Regarding the mix of billers, there's about 40,000 billers already on B2Bpay.com.au but you can also add new billers if you can't find the biller you want to pay - other customers have added over 4,000 extra billers just in the last few months. If you need assistance, just let us know on 1300 205 575. Thanks, Kevin from B2Bpay.com.au

Been sitting back and haven't made a decision about using RewardPay, B2BPay; neither or both. Set up but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Not too worried about missing the 2K or 10K bonuses as I'd rather get it right going forward. Having a possible Authenticated Rep on board may make it a little easier.

Thanks QF WP. Let us know if we can help - there are some BAS bills due on the 28th so I can see lots of customers making ATO payments over the last few days.
We're based in Balmain, Sydney and there's a team (including Matt, Alex, Liam, Chris, Kristy amongst others) who help customers get set up and maximise their benefits. Drop me a note if I can help too - AFF Support are in the process of listing me as the Authenticated Company Representative.

Will have a closer look tonight as I know my CFO has the BAS, etc to pay

Good to see that’s being sorted

Do a lot of people use this service.

2.64%+gst for amex.
Plus all the high interest bla bla.

Seems good on paper but rather little value for very high fees

There are people on AFF who use these services with their comments (including mine) all over the forum. I can claim the fee as a tax deduction so realistically, I'm getting just under 1.2CPP, earning into Amex MR whose partners (SQ, VA, CX) mean extracting > 1.2PPD value is child's play. With B2BPay specifically, the extra QF pt every $150, while little, is a bit of icing on top.

Doesn't work for everyone's circumstances, nor for those who value MR very conservatively (e.g. 1CPP).

Plus all the high interest bla bla.

What high interest?

I too find the Amex fee a bit too high even if tax deductible, but I use it a fair bit at the moment for some visa payments that I can't otherwise pay by credit card.

If you can wear the fee, it's slightly more per point than direct Amex but you get more points. In the case of Amex 1 point per per $ for B2Bpay. If your card earns more then it different.

i.e. Direct ½ point per $ @ 1.45¢, so 2.9¢ per point direct rather than the 2.904¢ per point of B2BPay.

Of course, there is the opportunity cost. A $5K ATO bill direct via Amex can earn 2500 points at a cost of $72.50; the same via B2Bpay earns 5000 points at a cost of $145.20.

That $5k bill via B2Bpay would earn 10000 points at a cost of $132 for me (or ~$119 after tax claim. I'm not sure where you got $145.2 from?).

I suspect that most people who are using Amex with B2Bpay/RewardPay are doing so with the Explorer/Edge Ascent combo. I can't speak for others, but I wouldn't be doing this if I earned any less (e.g. if it was just Explorer earning Gateway points per dollar). $119 for 5k is very poor value.
