Been through the mobile website three times. Maybe it’s just too early.
Can’t find these three pointers.
And the Deloitte report - fairly unrealistic assumptions on their part - that none of us have any cash flow and have to live month to month on an overdraft!!!!?
Another scam imho.

Got the email too. Bit of a coup for them to have qantas advertise it (do qantas own/ part own?)

How’s it compare to rewardpay? Besides offering V/MC Amex rate seems the same so it’s the minuscule 1 pt/ $100 only?

And how long til a virgin offering!

I see there was some mention of B2BPay as an alternative to Reward Pay in a thread last year, but I hadn't heard of them until I read the write up (advertorial?) on Point Hacks.

I've looked through the "bonus billers" on the website and none appear to be much use to me, but I will definitely be giving them a go given the Visa/MC options that RewardPay doesn't have, at the very least to meet minimum spend requirements on new credit card signups in a single hit.

Does anyone have much experience using them? Are the settlement times much the same as RewardPay?

I had a read through the Deloitte "report" on the B2BPay website as well. I didn't realise Deloitte had expanded their service offerings to include producing marketing material...

B2BPay takes longer to pay than RewardPay and I've also run into issues with payment references not making it across to the payee. This has then resulted in needing to manually chase up payments to ensure they get credited.

RewardPay is a better setup overall. If you're an Amex user, I recommend sticking to RewardPay.

Well have just put my first payment through on Amex to test it out.

I mainly want KF points but the bonus QFF points is a nice sweetener to offset the surchage. As is the initial 10K QFF points for joining if you spend $10K by 31 May.

Another scam imho.

I would doubt that Qantas business Rewards is going to have a "scammer" as a Points Partner.

Though of course not all Qantas Points Partners have offers that stack up. This one does for me in some situations.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

While I note your first point

For Amex I think both surcharges (+GST) are the same but this offers the extra QFF points. Does RewardPay also earn extra points?

Anyway I will try this out at least enough to earn the 10K QFF point Bonus.

It has nothing to do with you living month to month on an overdraft, actually quite a silly assumption on your behalf. It makes the assumption that by using the 55 day interest free period on a CC to pay through B2BPay you can actually 'earn' interest, through using the funds required to sit in an interest bearing account until you are required to pay the CC, whereby alternatively you would have paid the expense immediately.

Obviously it's not as simple a valuation as they propose, similar to what RewardPay say, but the above assumption seems quite valid.

The Big 4 are no longer your typical accounting firms, they now provide a myriad of services to their clients - their 'value-add' divisions are starting to generate significant revenue for these firms and they continue to grow these revenue streams.

Ignoring the 10k point bonus, if you have to do any payment chasing like I've had to with B2BPay, the time spent will very quickly negate the small handful of extra QFF points. One of their managers has told me that they have supposedly fixed this issue, but time will tell if it's truly fixed.

.

Thanks. Well to keep it simple I will for now just pay to the ATO as that will get me enough for the 10K

Exactly, The Big4 have not just been accounting firms for a long time now, and are diversifying even more now My eldest daughter is at one of The Big 4 at present. At 26 she has worked for 2 of The Big 4 plus NAB and IBM plus a SAP company.

Her current role is putting in place a lot of business system documentation for a bunch of IT Start-ups they have acquired (who lacked such documentation and processes) so that they can provide a whole new range of services to customers.

First time I've been called silly on this forum but there you go. It's easy to leave your manners behind when posting anonymously, I suppose.

Their assumption has everything to do with an overdraft - it's how they worked out you could "save" approx $3000 in interest a year on a 20k per month spend. I'm afraid I only earn about 1.5% interest (p.a.) on the 55 days my money is still in the bank prior to paying off the credit card bill. And that certainly doesn't come close to three grand, even on 50k a month!
