What are the chances of having AVOD on QF175 & QF176 in early October? And if the flights dont have AVOD, will they at least have in-seat LCD's? Most of the international QF I have flown recently has been to the phillipines, and those flights still have the big screen and projector!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I would suggest no chance of AVOD in that timeframe. But you will get the standard personal IFE system with seatback screen and selection of about 10 movie channels.

What NM posted!

As far as what you will be able to watch, it will be on a 2½ hour loop. With respect to the content check the Qantas Web Site for what's on:

(It does depend on what cabin are you travelling in as well)

Thanks for that NM and Serfty.

A lot happier knowing that at least we have our own screens.

would have to agree with the AVOiD tag

In fairness to the White Rat, I believe ALL airlines have suffered teething problems when they introduced AVOD.

However, good airlines which focus on customers and their needs, and try to provide service levels at least on a par with the best in the world - those airlines all introduced it AT LEAST 4 years ago and so have no problems with their systems now. (whinge whinge... :x )
