More on the 3 new cases reported today as part of the 9 (ie 6 were known yesterday, but officially reported today)..

And lol "mystery" case term used. Which just demonstrates how it is used by different people in different ways.
 
I'm finding this map extremely helpful. Its using data direct from the DoH, and much easier to visualise all the exposure sites, than the table on the Victoria government website.

I'm not sure I understand the comments coming out of Victoria regarding the ease of transmission? They are saying people passing in the street are able to transmit the virus - fleeting contact - yet we have only had three cases today? Or are they expecting a large increase in cases in coming days? But that is also confusing as they said the incubation period is as little as 24 hours.

What exactly are the plans should a state be locked down for a month? It’s not impossible as we have seen here. It’s going to be a sad outcome for many.

Longer lockdown likely as alert raised over positive case who visited NSW

Victoria’s public health team is leaning strongly towards a lockdown extension as alert is raised over Melburnian who visited locations in NSW last week.

Sadly the same tactic is being used in SA. But they just gave an exemption for the AFL match Collingwood V Crows. 🤷‍♀️

I did not type exemption to leave Australia! I don’t know what is happening here?
 
If a case happens here in Canberra, it will be rife, from observations, most don’t sanitise, nor sign into shops or supermarkets in particular, one coffee place we go to is strict, very good cleaning of chairs and tables, you must wait, others cafes not so much.
I honestly believe we get what we deserve, no point in blaming any government of any persausion, individuals have to do the right thing, but most seem to be so blasé about the whole situation.

Seems that there may have been some recent SEO upgrades that link certain words to existing AFF articles - Mod team looking into. Agree that would be a bit disconcerting for an auto correct function to guess words other than what you want to type.

PS I have had the same thing happen and have had to edit and rewrite with different text to avoid this "auto" correction.
