It’s ok. It isn’t hot and we have made new friends. We are on a cruise.

I really would have liked to have done this cruise but +1 is prone to sea sickness and I'm sure she would not have been happy to encounter rough waves! Somehow, i need to convince her to go to Antarctica with me....!!

Currently on Kangaroo Island, heard on the tender there were some problems with the stabilisers, it wasn’t that rough but a bit of movement until we were behind Kangaroo Island,
Biggest surprise was the waves in the pool.

Been an hour and just on the tender boat. Can’t see us leaving on time tonight.

Mr & Mrs Major and us have joining cabins so we have had the balcony door between the two opened for this afternoons drinks session. Here is Sue preparing for the big event.

Trip sounds great guys Cruising is a great way to spend a few days. We will be on the Golden in March headed to Singapore with a bunch of friends

In the casino right now. We just got a signal while at sea. Jess is happy. ‘I can see my house up here’. She is checking out every bar before we leave. There are 16. Gonna be a long day.


Trivia this morning.

Pod of dolphins just passed by port side. Maybe pix later.

Very languid and warm now.

Cabin below fully exposed to us but we are half sheltered.




I’ve now fritzed my card. Four times now. I’m not going to change it again as the guest services queue is awful.

Well, there was a mere suggestion by Sinophile888 that we at AFF should go on a cruise.

I seem to recall the idea came up at AFF #10 in Perth, while we were on our way to Rottnest Island. It was then suggested for a future event, such as an annual gathering, before switching to a standalone event or series of events. @sinophile888 did get things moving though by picking some dates!

Looks like the cruise was a blast, though I don't like the length of those tender lines. Think I'll stick to flying to Kangaroo Island and Port Lincoln

Dolphins. They were rather small though and quite far away but many of them.


Think that Jess has five bars to go. She accidentally duped one. Another trivia in a few minutes. And an AFFloater dinner tonight assuming *someone with status* remembered to book.

After battling our way through the crowds to get back from Trivia, going up and down decks trying to get a lift up we finally get to our room and now DameO has fritzed her Card. We are not going back to guest services so thankfully cabin attendant let us in. Clearly something wrong with our door. DameO has an invite to meet the Captain and so I can tag along too. Then the AFFloater dinner.
