Hey peoples,

Not done this before so hopefully I get it right, but I've got a couple of flights booked for next week (borrowed format from previous posters). I am travelling by myself so can guest 1 for all locations but I'm only SG so I suppose a lot of you may have access to my available lounges already! But anyway, happy for a meet-up to share a chat and a drink/snack before I start my long trip to LHR and back...

10 Aug BNE Dom lounge, about 6.30pm - 7.00pm, then QF553 to SYD - happy to pop into the J lounge with someone!
10 Aug SYD Int lounge, about 9.00 - 9.30pm, then QF87 to HKG - very brief, depending on DOM->INT transfer time
11 Aug HKG ? lounge, about 6:15am - 7.00am ish, then QF29 to LHR - never been in a lounge at HKG, so not sure where to go or even if I'll have time in transit. Open to suggestions though!

29 Aug LHR ? lounge, about 9.00pm - 10pm, then QF30 to HKG - also open to suggestions here
30 Aug HKG ? lounge, 6:00pm - 8:00pm ish, then QF128 to SYD - at the preferred lounge from last visit
31 Aug SYD Dom lounge, 8:30am - 9:45am ish, then QF516 to BNE - timing depends on customs.

I'm a friendly soul and I always appreciate some company, some red and a comfy chair.

There are a number of lounge options available to you in HKG - there are a number of threads about it on here, I think! I have only visited one of the Cathay Lounges - there is the Wing, the Pier and the Cabin (I think?!), I have only spent time in the Wing, which was being renovated so small, crowded and loud thanks to the renos, so you might want to try another. To be fair, my DragonAir flight was delayed at the gate next to the lounge, so it may not be an accurate assessment ;-) (If I have the names wrong or confused I apologise...) ENJOY!

I'm on QF8 too. I'll be in the QC generic lounge as early as possible (I have about 5.5 hrs between flights).

I can guest you into the SYD J lounge for this flight if you wish. Assuming my inbound flight (QF8) is on-time I'd anticipate being in the J lounge between 9:00-9:30 with my flight out of there at 11:25am.

Beware though, I may not be very talkative having just flown Chicago - Dallas - Brisbane - Sydney

Sam, went to VLI last week and went to Air NZ Koru club. Asked the lounge angel if she could explain the new rules for VA gold members ( I knew them anyhow ), she explained that trans Taman flights had access to the lounge but Pacific Is flights did not. Then said as the lounge was not full would the OH and myself like to use the lounge. Also suggested we watch the time as she would not be making a boarding call for our flight.

Not sure if this will be any use but..

I can guest someone into the QP in Perth 16th and 18th August, will be in the airport just before 5am

and can guest in Newman 16th at about 5:30pm and 18th at also 5:30pm.

Will update if any changes.
