Are there issues with searching Partner reward seats on VA currently?

Evening all - wondering if anyone has successfully redeemed a Business Reward Seat on United using VA points? I'm looking for May (I know, probably way too late - but I can hope). Out of interest I've looked months ahead as well and can see nothing. Do they exist?!

I know this isn't UA but it may be related. I booked some redemption flights for SIN->MLE - I had enough points for the booking and it showed me a range of availability. I've now consumed those points and when I now go back to see what's available for the same dates I can't see any availability. So it may be that if you don't have enough points for a booking it won't show you availability.

Not all searches will appear on the VA site.
Eg YYZ - LHR on AC in J was available (checked on UA and expertflyer) but not appearing on the VA site.
I called and was able to book over the phone. (This was back in November last year)

It is working? Because when I click on a date, it doesn't matter which date. It keeps saying nothing is available, choose from the following dates, it then lists some that are available. But when I click on those, I keep getting the "not available" message.

Agreed same issue. Not fixed.

I've looked at several all are doing the same thing.
Honolulu - Sydney
Don't forget, you have to call Velocity to book Hawaiian Airlines reward flights - they're not available on the VA site. (It might show you UA via SFO or LAX into SYD, but you'd probably spend more points doing that than booking HA direct.)

I can see MEL-SFO on the virgin site now for Feb 18. Very strange that United's website is showing availability for almost the whole week but virgin doesn't seem to get the seats.
But I have another question for the great minds here. If I find availability but need to continue to NY, will virgin let me book a mixed cabin ticket in business for the long flight and economy for the connection to NY?

VA only gets access to 'Saver' awards on UA in Y and I booking class in business (was going to type 'J' instead of business but that doesn't really work ;)). No PE availability of UA through VA.

In the week of 18 February, all days where there is saver award availability should show...

I can see reward availability for MEL-LHR on UA via SFO in June but I can't see any SFO - LHR for the same dates so there must be some limitation of UA flights commencing outside Oz.
