ANZ Platinum, 50k bonus QFF points after $1500 spend, no annual fee first year

I put my application in last week and received a call today about it. I asked about the 26th (today) cut off for the 50K QF points and they said they said the rules have changed, as long as the application is entered before the 26th it was all good, confirmation date wasn't the 26th like I read.

Just got verbal approval for mine, card supposedly in the mail.

What's the next one Affer's that's on at the moment!!

+1 applied and approved immediately just now. Another easy lot of points.

I was also in a branch earlier to clarify the issue about being eligible for the points if the application is approved after the promotion ends and was told still eligible provided you apply before it ends. She also seemed to think that it will be extended anyway as staff hadn't received any email notification of it ending today ( apparently this happens usually).

Doh'!
I toyed with the idea of rushing one through and saying i submitted on 25th but site played up and i had to re-do, but figured was FAR too likely to not work in my favor so decided against it.

I suggest you immediately call 1800 008 177 and if they say it IS still a goer for the 50K points and lounge passes etc, note the name and exact time of call for future ref. Tell them you had a maintenance message last night. Free call, nothing to loose. Report back, best of British!

How long did they take to post Buzzard? I will be making the $1500 payment to get the points as soon as my card is activated.

cheers,

Just got a co worker hooked (and accepted / approved today) into earning points.

Also all our 3 cards (2x basic, 1x black) have been approved (less then 24 hrs for each, pending).

I am quite surprised. My account opened on 23 June, spent $1,400 in the first month and a bit more in the following period.
The points posted within the last few days - I noticed them today.

That gives us 2 months to get our 50 000 or 100 000 or in some cases 150 000 QFF points, cancel and have another go:). I'm sure some will try

One thing I notice though, is that the fee free for the first year part of the offer doesn't seem to have been extended though.
