Has anyone had experience getting kids into the Koru lounge in Sydney with kids when you are VFF Gold and flying VA to USA? The VFF site says it's gold+1 (with 'invite') but nothing about +1+kids. Any experiences?

Thanks!

I think the alliance only includes trans tasman access AirNZ/Virgin lounge acess.

That used to be the case, but it's now changed:
International Lounge Access | Virgin Australia

How many kids are you talking about? I haven't been to the Koru Club in Sydney, but I recall hearing from others that it has a designated 'kids area' specially to cater to children. So if that's true I think you'll be right.

Hi Deewhy,

The same advice as always here.

Dig out their phone number and ring them ahead. Much better than tears at the door IMHO.
