Hi all
I noted today that ANZ have a 50,000 bonus points offer for applying for one of their credit cards.
ANZ Frequent Flyer
Assuming I was to apply for the card and cancel say, 8 months later, it looks like I could get 50,000 points for just the annual fee of $95. It seems too good to be true. 50,000 points is 39% of a return reward ticket to Heathrow.
Also I noted that you have to spend $1500 on eligible purchases but could not find a definition of what eligible purchases are.
Could someone point out any traps or glitches in this offer?
Also are there any other current similar offers where for a comparatively small outlay one can accrue a lot of qantas points?
cheers Peter
