I reiterate my thanks. Also more thanks to @blackcat20 for the lift ... It hadn't dawned on me it was just the one set of traffic lights between the airport and home.View from 4A at gate 49 ...
Thanks Jessica and Kate for arranging another fun weekend.

I am in EU this week transiting LHR T5 most days. Maybe we can cross paths?Looks like it was a good event, although I did try and get some flights, I am still stuck in the UK due to the war. I was meant to be on a flight back a week ago, maybe next year.
Depending on your travels, maybe yes. I will be in LHR flying with CX tomorrow night, if it all works out.I am in EU this week transiting LHR T5 most days. Maybe we can cross paths?
Edit: what could possibly go wrong!
In classic QF fashion, they’ve run out of the protein option in J by row 1!
To clarify - they loaded 6 protein meals, 2 for the pilots, and 4 for those in row 1.What!?
Not happy. On the last flight out with @Major leaving just the locals behind.
In classic QF fashion, they’ve run out of the protein option in J by row 1! The vegetarian option was quite economy-esque.
Thanks again to Jess and Kate for organising!
Wow, we didn't seem to have any issues with choices on any of our sectors. BNE-SYD-WLG-SYD-BNE.To clarify - they loaded 6 protein meals, 2 for the pilots, and 4 for those in row 1.
Yeah - there weren’t any issues on the SYD-WLG leg for me either.Wow, we didn't seem to have any issues with choices on any of our sectors. BNE-SYD-WLG-SYD-BNE.
SYD-WLG on the Friday night sounded like a "Friday night in Lent options" to me in J; there was Fettucine with Prawns or a Balti Chicken curry.
Brekky on Sunday morning was an omelette or a vegetarian tart; Mr Katie got the omelette and I got the tart as the omelette was filled with mushrooms.
We sat in row 2 for all flights.
