It was all about how good QFF is now treating P1 and how food the Aquire programme and how well the Aquire partners are pleased thus far and how good Golf is for QF customers too. Was their anything innovative or inspiring NO ZERO ZILCH NOTHING. Had 20 odd questions to ask but struggled to get answers to any BUT have agreed to email them to 3 members of the executive tem who have agreed to respond to them. It was more about trying to reassure customer that QF has turned the corner and things can only get better and how good QF is giving ALL those extra benefits to P1

Interesting, yet not surprising, that they don't want to listen or answer questions.

I went tonight as well.
Big waste of time. 100 odd people, hardly any food, poor access to Qantas staff.
It was basically an advertisement for Qantas.

Agreed the venue was inappropriate in my opinion for this typ of event couldn't see or hear properly Lesley or the team.

Were you expecting an advertisement for someone else? Every QF event I have been to has been promoting QF - that's what they're for.

Hello Ansett : such a pleasure to meet you tonight. You are right : that is all that it was about!! Didn't inspire me to inconvenience myself to fly QF metal to achieve P1. By the way : took a taxi home with Lesley! ;-O

PMSL How embarrassment LOL I kind of was surprised when he said it was as she was rather trimmer than I remembered her LOL.

Oh and it was a pleasure meeting you too :) Happy Flying

It was a nice event but I was expecting something like a Q&A session rather then a short speech that didn't include any new information.
Feels like a missed opportunity by QFF to engage with it's most valued members.

I have been advised that invites to a PER and a ADL event will be sent out next week. However, if there is no Q&A, it will be a bit pointless in attending.

But it seems like it was based on points earned not status. Seems a rather strange event though.

Glad I couldn't make it. coughtails don't taste good with a small amount of vomit in the back of the throat.

What were you expecting? Honest straight answers to questions? (not picking on QF all big corporates are the same in spinning they want to care about the little people)

I went to the Sydney event and found it to be an enjoyable night. I didn't however have any pertinent questions that I was dying to have answered. As others have said, Lesley's speech was orientated around how Qantas have turned the corner and are returning to profitability and other frequent flyer initiatives that most of us would already have been aware of. I spoke briefly to her at the end of the night but only to say hi and thanks.

There was a diverse group of people there (rather then all being WP/P1's). It was a great venue and great to meet some new people (whilst enjoying the odd beer or glass of Taittinger!).

Just got an invite to the event in Canberra. Plan on attending, so if anyone else is headed there (I know lowjhg is); love to catch up and say hello.

I just got one for CBR. Only 5 days notice and QF knows I'm not currently in Australia...
