ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

So Accor person told me a few things, probably not all new to people here but

* my issue of no new Stay plus probably just a lag and she’ll chase it up for me

* StayPlus has been opened up to all brands in the Accor stable so yes Raffles as well

* Explorer ( prev. Accor+) discounts extended worldwide. I note up thread that this isn’t apparent in their booking but probably give it a day or so hopefully.

Has this been fixed yet?
Unfortunately, it is still showing only 1 Stay Plus for me

I also tried to book using that refund stay plus, and it applied the new condition that it needs to be booked into 2 nights etc, such a bummer to lose my existing no fee booking for this mess, and I even try to book and cancel the booking, hoping it could be refunded as 2 back, but still no

Hmm, another quirk I've just noticed, my ALL Signature used to appear in the app as well under Paid Cards, but now doesn't seem to. Anyone else with both Plus and Signature noticed this?

Mine still shows in the app, Under the "Follow up" section that shows the points balance and savings

Have I missed something or are the overall benefits now reduced?

Didn't StayPlus use to be able to be used on it's own for a free night - now it has to be combined with a paid night.

Also wasn't dining with 2 people 50% off (ie: I eat free) - looks like max discount is now 30%.

Welcome to AFF. Yes, different percentages off meals now. Sad for two diners, but fairer for solo diners,

I will also miss my “free” night., which I often used at an airport Pullman for one night pre flight. Or in Melbourne CBD on arrival from Perth before moving on the next day to stay with family. The new 2-for-1 doesn’t work for me, but might be good value to many others. I was so looking forward to a night at Bunker Bay in November.; now it seems like we will have to stay two nights, paying for one of those nights.

When I went to book a hotel, the option to use the stay plus night or not showed up then.

ALL Explorer still works for me. StayPlus, earn points, use points to reduce the room rate, discount on dinner, welcome glass of wine. I’m still a winner, so am not looking for complications.

See what is wrong with this picture. I have requalified for 2026 on from status points and I could have sworn that it had been updated in my account. The new suite night upgrades from when I requalified are still there.

Mine is the same; I’m close to Diamond at 23K and yet it also shows my platinum will expire 31/12/2025. I’m presuming it’s linked to the ALL+ membership (December member here), and it would update accordingly after I’ve renewed. I’ll be Diamond by that point anyway though

I think the App is a bit janky. I had the same issue and I checked the website and it showed 31/12/2026.

The app is essentially showing you what the current status period is in case you want to obtain diamond.

Yeah, OK - confirmed with that it seems to know what's what, behind that link... but why it wouldn't just show the current Platinum status is secured to the end of the following year is rather odd from a UX (user experience) perspective. I guess they'll figure it out in time.

I went back to the app after seeing that and found somewhere that it has a similar note behind the scenes, but in there it fails to flag the fact that Platinum status is secured... not that I was concerned; Just highlighting the weird optics like others.

Agreed. Had me worried as well.

You get 2x SNU’s when you reach Platinum no matter how you reach it.
You then get another SNU when you get to 18k points and then 1 every 4K after that

Well, now I'm really confused.

As mentioned above, I got 2 SNUs with my Plat re-attainment overnight last night. I also have earned 11,176 status points this year. I'm quite sure jase05 is correct above.

So tonight I get this e-mail

Needless to say, there are only the 2 'annual' SNUs showing in my account. 🤷‍♂️

Some more homework for the Accor rep here at the Sofitel - I'm here for a few days :)

I'm not 100% certain but i believe its one of those terribly worded things where it's additional status points above the platinum threshold. So after 14000.

Can confirm as someone who has earned Platinum through nights previously the extra SNU's only started applying at 18,000 then 22,000 and so on. Even if you earn 4,000 Status Points after earning Platinum it's actually only 4,000 after achieving 14,000 that count.
