ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

It's an even better deal for those of us who only got 20 nights at renewal which they will take back on cancellation for pro-rata refund, but then replace with 30 days on sign-up to ALL Accor+
Do you know if there is a wait time between cancelling and signing back up?
 
Okay, looks like a lot to digest here but the main changes are 1 stay plus night to 2 buy one get one free nights and also automatic Accor Plus Gold with the 30 bonus nights. 30 bonus nights also being the cap if using multiple membership programs

And also that you need to spend or stay twice as much or twice as many nights over a 2 year period to maintain elite status as was required up until now; assuming membership was managed optimally

Yep, been throwing around status like confetti and the old saying of “once everyone has status, no one has status” is very true. Only have to speak to some of the loyal Accor folks to see how the benefits have been diluted.
I do think there will more changes in the coming years and purely from a selfish POV there needs to be some better perks for Diamonds and maybe even tighten it up a touch
