Alitalia Status Match

Just wondering how long the turnaround is between sending the Email and status match? Coming from Marco Polo Diamond. I never have my FF card with me and my card is in Hong Kong. I just logged in online and sent a statement instead, wonder if that is OK.

Just FYI. Statement + Screenshot didn't work. Just got a family member to scan the card in Hong Kong and emailed to me.

Reapplied on the Jan 21 as per previous post, logged in to today to see it had already been matched.

Has anyone who replied after the 26th Jan got a response? I reapplied with the requested information on the 25th but I haven't heard back. Tried to email them again but the inbox just has an auto response to say the email was not delivered as the inbox is closed.

SWMBO applied on the 21st, status updated on the 30th and confirmation email received yesterday. Have you logged on your MileMiglia account to check?

I applied on 24th Jan and received Freccia Alata yesterday (from BA Silver/OW Sapphire) to end March 17

I finally received my card today! I have to say that the Freccia Alata Plus welcome pack looks great. Now to find someone who could benefit from the companion Freccia Alata card, if I don't find anyone maybe I'll have to offer it to someone on AFF.



I don't think Alitalia will make any money by matching my status, since being matched I already booked flights with DL and AF, but I don't plan any AZ bookings...

I would add for the AFF nerds that the AZ lounge at FCO has a flight sim and it's free including the instructor. It was pretty fun when I did it last year.

Thanks, but unexpectedly it took me only a few emails to friends to find someone who had some upcoming AF and KL bookings. So I gave the Elite Plus status to a friend's wife this morning.

Took 4-5 weeks in my case.

Just received my Alitalia Freccia Alata Plus card yesterday, so I think 7 weeks post-application. Also armed with my Avianca Amigo Diamond Card. I possibly might be using EWR (Newark, NJ) in a few weeks, so thinking if I choose United the Avianca Star Allianz card might get me access. Unsure if the Frecca Skyteam is gonig to help with much, if I choose Delta as a VA WP I'd get access anyway.
