well it has some bubbles, but also the ice cream. Simple but does the trick and goes nicely with half warm party pies (OK I'm kidding on that part)

I've noted many times that I go to EK initially but when it gets busy say 4:30-5pmish (summer time) then I head over to QF. it's usually very quiet. the desk crew look at me like I'm weird coming in with an EK F BP but just shrug and note I'm a Plat and wave me in. No drama.

But it does have Champagne - not sparkling!! Was Lanson on my visit last week I think!
I used this lounge dozen a times a year for a over decade.

It has certainly had it's ups and downs. In the couple of years before the EK tie up Champagne would come out for the each way daily LA flights but back to NZ Sparkling at other times. The food varied similarly.

About six months after the EK tieup commenced, there was a marked improvement.
