AirAsiaX Delays/Cancellations

That flight plan must get submitted. So as long as ATC knows when you plan to depart, your route, planned speed and altitude, it is OK. How does a flight crew know whether their flight plan will conflict with another?
They don't, nor do they care. Separating aircraft is ATC's job. They'll do it with altitude and speed control once you get going.

Friday 9 August 2019, a day and night of difficult conditions in SYD and MEL sees D7221, the 2045 hours SYD - KUL airborne at 2144 with A333 9M-XXV. Saturday 10 arrival is predicted as 45 late at 0425 hours.

D7221, the evening scheduled 2045 hours SYD - KUL took off at 2134 hours with A333 9M-XXW. Arrival on Tuesday 13 should be at about 0415, 35 late.

There's no suggestion Oz flights in and out of KUL are affected but this is for information:

On Wed 5/2/20 D7223 (A333 9M-XXT), which departed SYD at 11.50 AEDT has, after overflying ASP, diverted back to that airport, touching down at 1354 ACST. Scheduled to continue to KUL shortly and arrive approx 2 hours late.

Medical diversion?

On Saturday 15 February 2020, D7201, the scheduled 1050 hours mid to late morning OOL - KUL (A333 9M-XXV) did not take off until 1646 hours, so arrival should be at 2248 late tonight local time, 338 minutes tardy. The aircraft had arrived four minutes early at 0931 hours this morning in OOL.

D7228 is showing on the SYD airport site as timetabled in from KUL on Tuesday 15 March 2022 at 0630 hours, although FR24 suggests this is 1130, and that it's only 17 minutes late, with A333 9M-XXZ as the aircraft.

Whatever, SYD suggests that the proper departure time for D7229 (SYD to KUL) is '0830 hours' but this is estimated to become 1230.

D7224, the 0615 hours SYD Easter Monday 18 April 2022 arrival was cancelled so the return flight to KUL on Tuesday 19 will also be.

Updating the previous post, while on Tuesday 19 April 2022 D7225 (0715 hours SYD - KUL) has got the flick, another flight, D7229 at a scheduled 0915 hours ex SYD is operating. However A333 9M-XXQ on D7228 arrived SYD this morning at 0717, 47 minutes late, so departure of 'the 229' is predicted as 35 minutes late at 0950 hours.
