Does that mean Moores law is applicable to forum post counts, in other words, doubles every two years?
I'm sure as a moderator you could find the threads for 200,000 and 300,000 easier than me and tell us how long between each?

So what is the next big competition John? 600,000 or 750,000 posts?

100,000 came up on 30 Jan 2008,4 years and 3 weeks later we pass 500,000 so roughly 100,000 a year over that period but 100,000 just in the last 7 months-Interesting.

At ~500 posts a day 600,000 would be ~200 days or ~6 months where as 750,000 posts would be ~500 days or well over a year.

I guess we can aim for 600,000 posts for now and take things from there....
 
Looks like I am only going to miss by about 4500 posts :shock::oops:
