I wouldn't mind trying D&D. But happy to go with the majority rule
 
Ok I'm calling it. 28th at Deer and Duck bistro. They have availability on the evening of the 28th. You can peruse the menu here and salivate: http://deerduckbistro.com.au

I'll up date the thread with public transport options later. I may grab an uber to/from Newstead or the cbd so feel inclined to post your transport requests/requirements to minimise your outlay.

A prompt confirmation is a good one. Please inbox me by 20/06/2017.. Purely so I can book asap. I suggested there would be 6-12 of us.
 
I am in! I shouldn't have read that menu before I have eaten tonight... I can't see it say it is BYO anywhere? It might be a good idea to check when you book :)

I called the venue before posting and confirmed they can do BYO on the 28th for a group of 6-12. If we reach 12 I'll negotiate.

Well organized puppysparkes. Have done a function for 30 at D&D which was great. Definitely a night venue. I'm platinum:D. Happy to share Uber from New Farm too.

Still trying to clear my way from Silver, because I will certainly need a stiff drink that night (will be after my 3rd QCAT hearing with my delightful :rolleyes: ;) neighbours)
 
Well it's fantastic to get some additional pax for the evening. Transport wise, it looks like there are a few members who will be in and around the CBD. My suggestion is to meet up and grab an uber/s or maxi taxi.

There is public transport but given the combined cost of travel it will be more convenient to uber.

Thoughts?
