Thank you Wozza and Anonymous Coward for your, as usual, exceedingly generous offers. I'd probably plump for something lighter to start, after all, I have clients to see in the afternoon...

I think the least we can do is buy you two your lunches - easy to chip in $5 each on top of our lunch and corkage.

Given we have about 10 people coming, I think this is probably one of the few opportunities to actually get through a magnum! 150ml each.
I have a magnum of 2004 Coppermine Road, if we want to do a compare/contrast between the two, but that might be too much wine - otherwise I can bring a single bottle of something - either another vintage of Cullen DM, or something lighter to kick us off. I have some Kanonkop Pinotage if people are interested to try something different.

Also happy to bring a 389 2010 or Mount Mary 2011 ( if you don't mind the quintet fairly young )

you will have no argument from me on that score

I would consider it, but as it's barely a week and 1/2 after the wine lovers meet up, I probably can't justify the trip. Even if it is my birthday :-(

Bugger, I only arrive at 5.20pm on Sunday, otherwise I'd have tried to get to this one - after Wozza spoilt me on DM's in the last 2 lunches!

Keeping to the 2004 theme I have a Bin389 I can bring along (or an 02 Coppermine if we want to two bottle vertical).

I think we're OK with wine - Looking through CellarTracker, I've got various 2000-2004 Domaine A, or otherwise I'll bring some '05 Bordeaux (one of the better vintages apparently) - looks like I have some Chasse Spleen and Petit Caillou, so we can do a compare/contrast. All depends on what I manage to find first in my chaotic cellar.

That said, I'm probably going to be a little delayed due to a last minute issue, so please start without me.

Several of the ducks have failed to line up for me today which means I cannot get away at lunch time. Unfortunately I must move to Bronze. Have a good one.
