Well I am behind on CCP so I hope to gain back a bit of that with 2,400 @ $12.50. Now if they refund some of the $30,000 I will be unhappy.

I will be investing in a royalties earning company in $USD in June. If it goes as planned the rate of return should be ok.
CCL has started selling new cruises.....not for the faint hearted......

I'm waiting to buy CCL shares - not sure whether I should just bite the bullet and buy them now or see if they go lower

I bought some (100) a few weeks ago, figured that 1/ they will go up eventually, and 2/ 100 is the magic number for the onboard credit shareholder benefit 3/ it’s the only cruise company that offers dividends and a DRP.
RCL is the second largest operator in this field and also pays a dividend, however they don’t offer a DRP and to “buy in” to their on board credit also requires 100 shares, which is more than 3x the price.
Then there is NCL who does not pay dividends at all, but does have the same 100 share onboard shareholder credit ruling.

Not quite. As of March 31 they announced their dividend would be suspended, in an effort to improve liquidity. This was joined with a $6bn share and debt sale for the same purpose.

How much did you pay? They're currently $14.21 - I think I might bite the bullet and buy them tonight - I did have a buy at $12 but think I might have missed the boat.

A few weeks ago I bought some AMA thinking that a number of rusty drivers would not go too well on the winter wet roads when they are allowed to drive. AMA are into panel and paint repairs of vehicles. Those shares fell a lot in the shake out.

NAB would be nuts not to grab every dollar when their business accounts are doing it tough. That said NAB have made some pretty stupid decisions over the last few years.

My view is that they will increase the $500m but there will still be substantial scale back. The share price hasn’t been as great last few days so that may scare a few off.

I applied for some Macquarie Capital Perpetual Notes as I had a shareholder offer. I think of this as a junk bond.

Yeah pretty much. I don't think Macquarie (by any stretch of the imagination) are about to fold but was put off by the clause which essentially said they had the right not to pay out and there was no right of recall. Reputationally unlikely to happen but still a dud clause IMO.

I was disappointed with MP1 where they refunded lots of our share purchase plan money. This was not the first time.Could be the last time for them as I am annoyed.
Yes think of that Macquarie Capital issue as a junk bond due to the clauses in the prospectus. I didn’t bet the farm on this one but it has a higher yield than some bonds.
I think I have had about 15 SPPs to look at in the last 2 months.
The last 2 weeks have been a good recovery from the March hit.
