AFF Member Stock Discussion

I missed SOL just below $20 and did not chase them. The same happened with EVT.
Hotels may have occupancy issues from what I was told on Monday last week so that may extend for a while with so many cancelling their travel.
I think some health stocks may go well in this next few months.

Taken a 10% hit - easy come, easy go. We still have 20 years of earning $$$$$ to go.

Yeah same for me. You just in ETFs?

+10% from Jan 1 to Feb 20. It was only a matter of time and what would be the catalyst.

Time for me to arrange a line of credit I think.

We just muck about within our SMSF. We have roughly 1/3 in property, 1/3 in cash, and 1/3 in shares.

If the market really does a correction we'll get that cash working harder with shares.

Any predictions on what will happen tomorrow? No Aust government stimulus over the weekend which a few commentators were predicting.

Down 2.8% so far today. This has got a little way to go yet.

Only 0.76% now.

Sit on hands is my current strategy.

Trump will do everything he can to stop the bleeding, and if Biden beats Sanders, it will also help. Interesting week ahead!

Hmm well tge Fed dropping interest rates in the US only sent the market down again. Another interesting day ahead.

Indeed , but in 2009 my dividend stream hardly faltered.. and I expect a similar pattern for this downturn.
It takes a while for earning downturns to apply to dividends, first cab off the rank is reporting and we should all watch the updates very closely
