So...what time and where, and all that?
Hi! You should have received an email from us on 22 August with the details. For those who may not have received this, here's what you need to know:
What to expect on the day
The MasterClass sessions will run from 11am until 5pm. Feel free to arrive any time from 10am, and grab some complimentary coffee or tea before the first session starts at 11 o'clock sharp.
Here's an overview of the sessions that we plan to run throughout the day:
- Session 1: Qantas, Velocity and key international frequent flyer programs - presented by Matt Graham and Wilson McTaggart
- Lunch from approx. 12.45-1.45pm
- Session 2: Interpreting fare rules and maximising the value of airfares (part 1) - presented by Alan Lam
- Afternoon tea from approx. 3.30-4pm
- Session 3: Maximising the value of airfares (part 2) - presented by Alan Lam
- A final panel discussion and Q&A session to end the day
Of course, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions to our speakers throughout the day, as well as to network with other MasterClass participants.
If you informed us about any dietary requirements in your MasterClass registration form, we have passed on this information to the hotel.
The hotel will provide pens and paper.
Getting to Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport
Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport is an easy 5-10 minute walk from Mascot train station, or a 20 minute walk from Sydney Airport's domestic terminals. The hotel also provides a paid shuttle bus to/from the airport.
Undercover day parking is available at the hotel for a discounted rate for conference guests of $20, which is payable directly to the hotel.
Optional dinner after the MasterClass
The AFF community has also organised an optional dinner after the MasterClass. This will be at 7.30pm at
Thai Pothong restaurant in Newtown. The cost for this dinner is $55, payable in cash on the night. It includes a banquet menu and the option to BYO wine. Additional drinks can be purchased from the restaurant on the night.
