This is an open poll. How easy is it to only count votes of the people that have a serious intention of attending.I think we can agree on the pattern that people are selecting their non-home location.
Given that, I would hope that those voting are giving a reasonable committment to the event. For example, as Sydney has 18 votes at this time, that those 18 are in for Sydney.

Not my fault - I was fine with ADL but the date chosen sucked for me ...... If I remember correctly the same voting process was followed in selecting Adelaide and then only a handful turned up to the gathering....
If this is the final choice of venue and date, I'll say now that I'm over a 90% chance of attendingLooks like SYD is a clear winner with a slight leaning towards 25 October 2009. :-|
