Advance seat selection Status differences.

I have just changed status from Silver to Gold, not likely to get to WP before the end of July

I had two bookings in the system 767 and 737 SYD - CNS, both red e-deals. After updating the status with Q i was able to select seats 8 rows forward

767 was row 39 now 31 and 737 Row 20 now 11

As we mere WP's need to do as well ... although we can generally select from row 6 on a 73H and row 25 on a 763/330 beforehand.

Slightly OT , just booked el-cheapo LHR-GLA for Shrek family on BA.com. Entered FF numbers ( 2x WP, 4 x NB) on booking and was pre-allocated 6 seats across first row. Obviously no CL/ BA exec zone on those flights
