Accor Stay Plus FREE Night Allocation and Availability

Yes, I have been researching this today and can confirm. This will add points for your free night.
This is a myth, under the new system at least, as you have already paid for one night.

Yep, I posted on the A+ thread that a recent 3n stay with a freebie night posted as 3n plus points for the $ amount.

So there's effectively no longer a need to "fabricate" a spend at the hotel for status nights to land given you've already had to buy a night to get the second night free?

You can still burning points on the free night paid night so in theory it is possible you end up with a 0 dollar cash stay for two nights.

I just did in my stay, but could be hotel specific if they let you use it or not

Did you get the two nights stay credited or is this something to cross post in the “Travel mistakes” thread if chasing ALL nights?

I'm not sure it is possible to pay 100% in points these days.
Presumably it would have to be a multiple of €40? Or do you lose part of the 2000 pts / €40 on a part payment?

ISTR receiving an email in the last year regarding something along the lines of max percentage on some bookings/properties.

In any case, the app permits using points in 1k minimum (€20) then 2k increments to reduce the cash component; no increment less than that and certainly not to a figure more than the full cash rate

Currently the app gives a rate of $35.60 for that first €20 (1000 points) and $71.20 for each €40 (2000) use.

I had a co payment of around $5 after deducting the points, so the two nights did post.

@Daver6 thanks for the work. Just checked-in to Raffles Bali with the stay plus (3 nights total). Pretty crazy experience so far. I don't think I've ever been picked up from the airport gate before. (Not the main hall exit, the boarding gate).

It's close enough to be specific, though it might be possible to book it. The ALL Accor+ Explorer Terms and Conditions state that "A maximum of one Stay Plus Free Night benefit may be used per stay (a stay being consecutive nights in the same hotel)."

Hm, i was going to do 2x separate bookings for 2 nights each but may not risk this

Wow! Was not expecting that level! Please do post a report of your stay in the relevant Accor thread. Can't wait for my stay there in a couple of months.
