hey all, for anyone who Accor Plus via Amex platinum card, can you clarify the membership year for the benefits? is it based on calendar year or the day that i applied to enrol in Accor plus through amex? i enrolled via amex and am still waiting for confirmation via accor. if it is based on calendar year then i will try to use up my free stay plus nights before new years day. cheers

Peppers Soul is available as Stayplus but the 3bdrm Skyview doesn’t save much as still comes in at $1558.
The 3bdrm Ocean view however is $1656 and saves about $800

Sosei Sapporo also has StayPlus.
On Deluxe room only, cost $296

Thanks for that. Do you happen to know if the rates had option to pay with all points?

Also, I think generally skyview apartments are better than ocean views.. all though the rates are not reflective of this one those dates

You can’t combine StayPlus with rewards points.

Has anyone booked their two Stay Plus nights as 2x back to back bookings i.e. a 4 night stay with 2 nights "free"? I'm assuming there's no issues with doing this.

I think this is specifically called out as not allowed. I could be mistaken.

It's close enough to be specific, though it might be possible to book it. The ALL Accor+ Explorer Terms and Conditions state that "A maximum of one Stay Plus Free Night benefit may be used per stay (a stay being consecutive nights in the same hotel)."

AFAIK nothing stopping you using points to pay at the hotel, just cannot do it on prepaid.

Having stayed at them all I have them ranked as
1- MGallery Hotel des Arts
2- Sofitel
3- Pullman
4- Novotel

The MGallery, Novotel and Sofitel are all near each other and that is the location we love as plenty of things within walking distance.
The Pullman I’d nearly have on par with the Sofitel but hotel is a bit further away from where we like to stay so for us it loses a point even though Grab’s are dirt cheap.
Like most hotels in Vietnam high tier members get great recognition but MGallery staff go well over and above that IMO

We have reserved a Swiss Prestige Marina Bay room for S$3,670 (A$4,286) using corporate rates, but weighing up the benefits of signing up to AA+.

We also have a night at the Pullman at BNE airport on 12/04/2026 @ $273.

Note only the base room can be reserved generally and you need to stay for min 2 or 3 nights depending on the property. You cannot use more than one credit per stay.

For an accor free night stay, please remind me again what was the point of making a nominal charge on the credit card - so the stay gets added to your coughulative nights count?

Yes, I have been researching this today and can confirm. This will add points for your free night.
