i can't keep track of the posts i've lost. Wrote a well thought out and long reply on my phone earlier and got the access denied.
I'm going to delete the app til ts fixed so i don't run into this problem again.

My solution has been to post less often, grump and moan every so often

It is a known issue. If you have not used the app in a while but it has been left open in the background the recommended practice is to clear it from the app switcher and then re-open it fresh.

I have taken to saving my post content before posting if I am not sure, that way I can quickly kill the app, re-start it and post the saved content.

Just happened to me. Posted a comment successfully, went to next discussion typed up a comment and was rejected as not logged in

I've been having similar issues regularly. I always log out and log in on every time I use the App and it seems to stick around for longer. ALWAYS copy my longer comments before I post. A little annoying but better than the red column of "access denied"

What is this "App Switcher" that you mention?? Is that the "double click quickly" on the home button and all your "open" things come up on screen? (I probably coud have said that better if I knew what I was talking about)...if so, hen I have just flicked upwards about 50 screens. Maybe that'll make it work...

I am lucky I have the old app. I wish I could share it with you all but when I tried doing that a while ago it was unlockable and linked to my iTunes account.

Lately I've been getting the message on the old app saying the developer needs to update it and it will cause my phone to slow down. So far so good.

Attach second pic. Oh I'm not logged in again? Rinse and repeat. Then I use the browser (safari, iPhone) and I'm getting ads!!

Very disappointed that these problems continue with little if any acknowledgment by the site operator. If I didn't still have the old app I probably wouldn't bother.

Maybe the reduction in membership renewals will encourage fixes to these problems. I certainly hope they are fixed soon!

+1 . To post from the AFF app is very frustrating! Sad to say but it's so much easier and time efficient to post on those Facebook forums until this issue is fixed.

With the ad blocker and the rather aggressive ads when I click on the "Reply to thread 'xx_X' " emails on my phone, is there a way to open these links in the app, rather than in a browser?
