I have a QFF points flight booked in October 2011 from SYD to NYC with the LAX to NYC leg on a AA flight.
I joined Aadvantage in order to be able to allocate my seats however when I rang Qantas to get my PNR the rep allocated my seats for this flight over the phone.
I was given 28A & B.
Are there any issues with my seats being allocated this way i.e are there better seats available if I get allocated through AA? or does it not matter.

I have never flown AA before.

Thanks for your help.

If you go to checkmytrip.com and enter the Qantas PNR, it will give you the AA PNR which will allow you to choose your own seats on the AA website. You don't need to be an AAdvantage member to do this.

I got onto checkmytrip.com and have now been able to view my seat allocation on AA.
Seats allocated are good.....

I didn't know about this website - good to know.

Thanks
