Oh yeah.

I still don't have my luggage.

Luggage is overrated.

Also.... Let's just say that myself and a certain high profile guest, (Not an AFF person) decided to sit in the J Bar area for a number of hours and Enjoyed a drink or 10. We finished all the 18 YO Glenlivet from F so we started on the 12 YO from J. Lindsay Wilson was there for part of that time....... So he knows who it was.

Good to see someone using the resources well!

I scored a mini boss win by getting the details of a very good looking and funny FA as well.

Useless comment without pics :)

Okay, I have been a bit slack in posting pictures as I've been trying to get some sleep - to no avail. It is now 6am and we are in the Lobby waiting for our pick up - off to Burj Khalifa for a sunrise view from 124th floor

Probably a good thing I was not there, of maybe even the J 12yo may have run dry too

Okay, now we are back from the Burj Khalifa and sitting down for a long breakfast until our Souk tour starts in 1.5 hours. so this morning was stupendous - photos to follow.

As Dubai doesn't really start until 10am, we were the only ones walking past the Dubai Mall to the Burj Khalifa. Construction commenced in 2004 and was originally was to be Burj Dubai (Burj meaning Tower). It was opened in 2010. Essentially, it has 163 storeys (mix of Armani Hotel, Armani Residences and offices) with the total size being 200 stories (when including the spire).

And in exciting news for me.

Luggage will be with me this morning.

Apparently the Qantas Airport manager did not know where I was staying. (Long Story)

Well, time for more photos from this morning as I await the Gold Souk tour. Got to love wireless access in the hotel:
