So does that lucky recipient of mistake delivery 10 cases Pommery to Ingleburn NSW this morn actually post here?

No doubt lots of high fiveing and heel clicking going on but don't pop too many corks as they are coming to retrieve them. đź‘Ť

Edit:
OOPS - my bad - the INGLEBURN NSW address is actually QW warehouse - shipment recalled.

theyd be hard pressed to get them back!

May be worth everyone checking their delivery status. Surprisingly, my latest update (for Brisbane delivery) from Australia Post, has the order being processed at Brisbane facility this morning (Saturday). Expected delivery date is Tuesday:

Delivery to Brisbane: Just collected the 1 x six-pack Pommery, plus 1 x six-pack mixed white from the Post Office, as ordered. All good. :)

I had one case delivered Friday and the other two arrived this afternoon after a slight delay.

Apparently I didn’t accept mine so to postman is returning it to sender.

I hope everyone whose order is not honoured calls up to complain on the basis that they know some were honoured!

Also - Fastaway is awful. After this is resolved I am going to have a discussion with Qantas Wine about how 2 weeks traversing the Nullabor is going to ruin wine.

They delivered my 1 x box of Pommery today (Hobart), although the second parcel (of wine)....was MIA and is now marked return to sender in the Fastway tracking system.

I'm not sure they could of buggered this one up anymore if they tried - quite comical!

EDIT: Quick update - spoke to Ana at the call centre, another box of red on the way to replace the return-to-sender one (the Pommery will ensure i don't go thirsty for the week at least!)

Well this has kept us talking about Qantas Wines for over a week and it promises to continue until Friday when my orders are expected to be delivered.
If the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about, (or if any publicity is good publicity) then they have had a win.

The whole (and on-going) saga makes them look very ordinary, to say the least. Although I had already noticed that things were a bit odd at Qantas Wines since probably the end of last year.

Plus the fact that a failure to deliver is in breach of the binding contract between buyer and seller. I would take a test case to NCAT if I had ordered and I would be highly confident of victory.

Indeed noting that the oft-quoted clause which reserves the right to cancel or vary any order only does so "until the order is processed by Qantas WIne".
If they have taken your money and sent the box out on the road, they've processed your order and are no longer entitled to cancel it.
Even under their own terms, leaving any other issues such as implied statutory warranties, aside.
