Not according to the T&C

The Qantas Cards have a different portal....so the T&C you have quoted are not relevant.

If you register a Qantas Amex through the Qantas portal. you should be fine. It earns QFF points and not MR points.

Filled up at BP tonite....$50; so will wait and see whether the 5 pts bonus posts straight away or not. The BP gift card is valid for only a year; if I get the bonus points, might then buy a small value gift card to make sure it attracts the bonus pts as well before I work out how much fuel I will use in 1 year, and then buy a stack of BP gift cards in late Dec

You're looking at the Membership Rewards website - check out the link I included in my post. Just call the number on the website and quote "5xBP" and you'll be registered. Like I said, I've already receive one lot of points!

In our area BP are consistently dearer than the other brands. This is in itself a good reason to star away from them.

Awesome idea on the vouchers, never thought of doing that but definitely will be stocking up on a few late December too!!!

Just registered my Qantas Amex card - poor guy in the call centre was confused: apparently the references for Qantas and non-Qantas cards is different and I had to lead him through how to go through the Qantas Amex portal! He finally got it - and said he'd put it through the system to sothers don't get the same confusion.

You beauty .... I have my business fuel account with a BP and always pay with AMEX .
It usually comes in at around 2.5 - 3k a month and that means a probable 30k extra QFF points by Dec 31 just for paying my fuel account !!

Just to clarify, for Plat Edge cards, which already earn 2 points per $ at service stations, the total points per $ would be 7?
