2400 SCs automatically offered additional platinum benefits

I haven't seen it reported here but I ticked over 2,400 SCs today (literally this morning's SYD-MEL flight took me to exactly 2,400). Ordinarily I would expect there to be some lag and maybe a letter from QF offering me the additional WP benefits choices but when I logged onto my account this afternoon it was a banner offer to simply click to select the option (I took the 50K to fund the P1 status run).

Is this a new thing?

Been like that since the change was introduced.

We will also email you in case you miss it when you log in, just make sure you are opted in to receive emails. That will be quicker than mail too.

I had it for the last 2 years. Also when i nominated my brother for partner gold, it happened straight away.

I am in that camp - this 50k replaces the PG I could have rather than the loyalty bonuses and from now until 3600 SCs there is nothing...

I too would like to see the loyalty bonuses continue beyond the current four. QF has lost a bit of business from me. 5060 SC's YTD (year ends 31 July) ......but also 1085 with DJ.

We are all different.......i would always choose PG. 50k in points just doesnt do it for me.

50k doesn't really do it for me either however a few limo transfers or PG is of absolutely no use to me so out of the 3, 50k is the only useful thing.

My wife, if she does fly is with me, so no need to have PG. in my case it would be a waste. But as stated, we are all different and have different needs.
