Nobody in the rooms around here for for the past hour. Kids exploring how amazing it is to open & close a door with the security latch engaged. Repeat every 30 seconds. It would be tempting to let them escape...

I'm trying to put a few words together but they are coming out rather slowly this morning.

1. Thanks to munitalP (& Oz_mark) for the organising the big night.
2. Thanks to the HSW staff incl Exec lounge staff (Terryn & Natallie) who were still looking after us downstairs way after lounge closing time.
3. Thanks to everyone for turning up and proving how great a community AFF is and proving that (most of) the people are actually quite normal. -- in a different sort of way.
4. Thanks to admin for putting in a guest appearance.

From my perspective the only letdown of the night was finding that Princess Fiona is more like a Smurf than an Ogre :!: I mean who has ever heard of a blue Ogre :?: (really )

Thanks also to the drinks (and food fairy) for paying for all the late night replenishments.

It was nice to meet a few new people. I seem to recall I had waygu steak very late!!

I still have 90% of my bottle of lagavulin left!!

I'm staying at HSW for the next 2 nights before heading to Europe.

I think I may be looking forward to AFF drinks in PER and SYD next.

And thank you to whoever it was who kept the drinks going, & bought my dinner ( my butter chicken was delicious). I found out when I went to pay last night that it was all fixed up - Too late to say thank you then.

Am starting to think about food again. Are AFF folk in the Exec lounge or restaurant?
