I thought I read that others had seen points posted fairly quickly. I'll definitely wait until the cooling off period before cancelling the policy.
 
Just got my policy sent through. It has the following text in it:

Considering my fortnightly premium is less than $10, I'd say that's a winner.

Email from WW just now. $100 Woolworths Dollars added to account. Checked my account and its sitting there, ready to be converted to 8700 QF points on 15 March.
 
Anyone else getting the following when trying to sign up?

Happened to me a few times earlier today. Keep trying.

Well tried all day yesterday and this morning.... I decided to try a different postcode and it worked, so went back and put in the original postcode and same error.
Looks to not like 2601 as a postcode, I moved to Victoria a few moments ago and all good now.
 
Is everybody's sweeping over from WOW to QF at the same time? My last was on 16 Dec.

Was able to sign up today and no SMS received though I think i ticked on the sign up to receive only email notifications.
In the email I did receive there is the following:

MyPet Portal is a great and easy way to manage your policy online and find out more information. By registering for MyPet, you will be able to:

  • Submit and track claims
  • Check the details of Penny’s insurance cover
  • Search the Help Centre
  • Update your personal and banking details
Simply register at www.woolworths.com.au/mypet any time after your policy start date. Alternatively, you can also call our friendly Customer Service Team on 1300 10 1234 between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday AEST (except public holidays).

Edit: Just tried to sign up for the portal by you can not until after 11:59PM of the day the policy is created.

Also for those who took out multiple policies did you use the same personal details with each pets name and have 20,000 Woolworths Reward Points post for each policy or is it one lot of points only?
I did not notice in the T&C's if the points are a one time thing or per policy.

As mentioned above I had four policies taken out with 4 different Woolworths Rewards #'s. I have received two different text messages with the sign up details which I have done. The other two I have not and that could be a problem in that I used the same email address and phone number of one of the policies that did receive the SMS.

There is no way I can manually register as the link from the SMS has the policy number (which is different to the order number on the application confirmation email).

There is a chance that those two applications aren't going anywhere (I replied to the email asking why so I'll see what comes of it). If not good, I'll have another go using different email addresses I have setup as well as a different mobile # which I've got also.
 
I got an email about managing my account online but I didn't bother to click on it. Do you need to set this up in order to get the 20k points? I wouldn't have thought so... patiently waiting for the 20k

Late to the party but have signed up one “pet”. Will do for a few other family members as well.

I see a few people have done multiple policies to the same woolies rewards number, would be interested if any get the 20k pts more than ones as well. Realise I can do it to other rewards number I can create but don’t really shop there so the discount doesn’t appeal much. Just want QFF.
