Got mine today, 11,000 from a Dec 27 purchase (used). No need to phone. Wonders never cease! ;)
 
I got most of mine, but still missing 5000 points by my calculation. I'll follow up when I get home.
 
Bought a $500 voucher for 2 pax (myself and partner) and used it to purchase 2 x return tix total value over $500.
Thought I'd get 5000 points but got 2500 today - I'm in the same boat as some others it seems?

As some have already posted, bonus Qantas Points have been credited in bulk for many of our members today.

However upon investigation with the relevant teams (yes, there are multiple departments across the business involved with such a promotion), some technical issues have been identified that have delayed the crediting of points to some members, in particular those who’ve purchased multiple vouchers.

These issues are currently being worked through, and for those who’ve sent emails to our Frequent Flyer team, you will be contacted individually. Please be assured that all eligible gift vouchers will receive the promised points.

Should you be affected or require assistance with this, it’s best to email [email protected] directly with your membership details and voucher reference number/s so they can make any necessary adjustments.

I would personally like to extend my apologies to those inconvenienced on this occasion.

I've been contacted twice all to no avail, behind a WP means nothing in this matter either. What a fiasco, no real answer at all.
i was hoping to use these points for a Europe flight but now it's not going to happen.

Not flying on this ticket for a while so not overly concerned, however is this an issue that will correct itself, or will I have to call to sort it out at some stage...? Thinking while the "please contact Qantas" is still there there might be problems OLCI for this booking...?

This is a known issue for the Gift Vouchers issued with the residual value after using an original purchased Gift Voucher. Typically, if you want to Manage the booking, then you need to ring up and ask for some Remarks to be removed which seem to make MMB think it is still a voucher. Usually this is pretty straight forward to resolve. This week for me, however, the twice I've had to call up, both agents have indicated that the usual remarks are not there, though the last agent indicated that the comments were something like "Eligible for Gift voucher" with the $ amount of the voucher used to redeem the flight.

Thanks for that, perhaps I'll bring it up next time I have to call for something in the future... I was mainly wondering if such a booking issue still allowed OLCI or if this was "broken" due to the "remarks" issue, hence check-in would then be required to be done at the airport...

Yeah sorry, can't help with that part as I've always just rung up to get them fixed so I can add my ABN and select seat.
