To write and if you win, in a 200 word essay on how you will spend the said 1M (per Australian state) points tally... so, why hasn't anyone mentioned it?
Or doesn't anyone know about it?
It has appeared as a blurb in the Adelaide Advertiser's Travel section.
Unless its stale news by now, on here.

Do you have a link? Can't find anything on the Qantas site.

Thanks for finding that - have entered although I hate those comps that are "tell us in xx_ words..." Never know what they are looking for

Nice find

So 10 million points equates to 40 J class tickets OZ-EUR at a nominal value of 8K values the give away at a minimum of $320,000.00 Now what was the cost of NOT honouring CD?

I could note that getting 40 J class seats is probably only a theoretical exercise, but that would be ungracious. ;)

I see under 'Where did you hear about it' there is the choice of QFF e-mail. Anyone get such?

And no option for hearing about it on Australian Frequent Flyer!

I have sent my entry in. I dont like these 200 words or less things either, but I had a story to tell in this one, I hope I win so I can send my father on a nice trip somewhere.

Thanks for the heads up!

I've submitted my entry so no need for anymore from NSW thanks :)

Have just got the email from Qantas about this so time to think up something.

Just received e-mails about this as well - dated 29 May - gosh e-mail is slower then snail mail :) It appears to be part of a celebration for hitting 10 million members

I guess writing about obtaining status with a DSC offer combined with MASAs isn't going to win.

It's also published in the herald sun newspaper with Jessica Mauboy Spruiking it ...

Must be for selected members only No Email for me :)

I hate these sorts of contests as well. Although they are likely looking for something along the lines of where you would go and what you would do at a overseas destination that QF flies to.

Someone should give them a story about traveling somewhere that you simply can't get to on a QF code.

I just received my email.
I also dislike "in xx_ words" competitions.

It was advertised in the local News Rag here today (Sunday Times) on the front cover. Even offering the wipe the FF Joining Fee away for those that didn't have an account.

Give it a try!! Maybe how much losing MASA's has hurt you could work.
