I'd say probably not, based on the fact they're not travelling. But you never know your luck, if no one else here can confirm, just call Velocity and check.

I can't see why not. I asked about getting an extension for a complimentary lounge pass of a month, and they said that would be doable (but to ring back closer to the expiration date in Oct). With you being Plat, I'd be surprised if there were any problems.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking and why I posted this after checking the T&C's regarding 'Eligible Sectors'. I guess all I need is someone that has upgraded from Flexi using points, to confirm if they've had that booking registered on their account as an ES.

I'm wondering whether all the half points upgrades that I'm looking to take advantage of will be considered as 'Eligible Sectors' for Velocity? Can anyone confirm if they have had upgrades from Flexi to Business using points count as sectors on their accounts? I think it's pretty cut and dry...
