QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

Yagottalarf... I put a complaint on their "Customer Care" email thingy and they have a new massage: Thank you for taking the time to contact us. As a Gold Frequent Flyer, your feedback is very important to us. I would like to advise that a Customer Care Executive from our Premium Team...

QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

Well your name's Mark and not Eddy, so I guess you'll probably be fine (depending on what colours you're wearing).

QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

I understand your question. I will spell out the answer slowly. I tried it. It spat out a message. (the bit in quotes) My response to that message follows it... (not my response to you). Now, I was also helpful... or tried to be... by telling you what I find useful for keeping track of...

You're from Melbourne right? You probably won't be allowed across the border. Cheers Andrew from Adelaide but in Sudeney

QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

That was exactly what he called for. The reference was my response to QF brain dead message quoted above it. Duh! read it again p'haps.

QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

Excuse my ignorance. I fly a heluvalot but don't realise I'm going through an MMB... what is it when I see it?

QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

"Sorry. The site is currently experiencing difficulties. Please try again later." Ahem - it is me who is experiencing the difficulties. Your comment is useless twaddle I already knew. I use tripit.com to send all my reservations to so that I always have ticket and Confirmation numbers...

QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

You'd think with all the money they pay Amadeus that they'd be able to program the website so that when the reservations system is unavailable it says something that is not patently or most likely false! But then again, that would be an acknowledgement that they have a failing so perhaps it is...

QF Website down - not allowing access to bookings

Seems the QF website is down - getting on for at least an hour now. You can log in, but can't see your bookings. When you call 13 13 13 they can't do anything because their systems are down. Makes web checkin rather difficult!

QFF... is status a determinant of seat allocation any more?

Thanks Serfty. Very enlightening. I think the system doesn't work in principle, and I'll bet that their family exception for PCV results in lots of infrequent flyer families sitting in front of me. I fly every week a number of times and this is annoying... will be interesting to see if QF...

    Overhead bin/locker sizes?

Hi there RSD, I too am a photographer and know your dilemma. 737 has done a great job of telling you the rules. I'll let you in on a secret... I flout the rules, generally with impunity. My gold FF membership helps I suspect, and does help with checkin baggage when needed. My camera...

QFF... is status a determinant of seat allocation any more?

Hi, I'm a gold QF member but these days (I'm guessing in the last 15-18mo) my status which had been a determinant of a forward aisle seat seems to no longer qualify me for this treatment. Before online checkin I seem to be allocated Row 12+ and generally end up in 12-15. Frequently...

    Qantas meals

I've never been that enamored with airline meals, but do you also think that the meals on Qantas (economy domestic) are getting worse and worse? Case in point - on most recent evening flights I've been on (BNE-ADL, MEL-ADL, SYD-ADL) I've been presented with the "Beef Rissoles with Mashed...

    QF Economy Urination Policy

Damn... is it you that sits behind me intent on tapping out a different tune to the one I'm listening to - more than likely ISCAH, given the saturation coverage it is getting... 3 times on one SYD-ADL fright. Its intriguing how toilet humour quickly overtakes anything slightly related to...

    QF Economy Urination Policy

Well if you merged your ideas with the 747 fire fighting plane in action in SoCal this week, you could have a full time job with Evergreen... the ultimate in recycling.

    QF Economy Urination Policy

No. There's no new policy there. That makes sense to me. The impracticalities on 737s of the separate toilets policy however seems senseless to me. I see what goes on and with few exceptions have not seen anything likely to seriously bother anyone. And if everyone waits for the light to go...

    QF Economy Urination Policy

For clarity the OP neither was busting to go - be it #1's or #2's, pissed off, brownied off or inclined to make a fuss on board. If I was in the first 10 or so rows I would go to the front if I needed to, but the major factor would be practicality - trolleys, FAs and other people in the aisle...

I am over the moon about the Qantas Business Travel TV Commercial... "Qantas makes business travel a breeze" YouTube - Qantas Paper Planes - 60 seconds At least now I know I don't need to get up in the 4AM darkness for those earlybird frights. No need for a cab to the airport. I...
