Likely too much capacity as Jetstar previously have come and gone on the route, they have just put a A321N on the route which increased seat count very recently.

Good call. MEL-SIN-MEL now cancelled this Sunday. From reports they are not putting people on QF, simply moving to another day and asking people to submit accommodation receipts.

I assume Virgin ended the contract as they are ending A320 ops in November. They have held it from the Skywest days as far as I recall.
