Yeah, the 2021 is very disappointing for the vintage and pedigree of the label, seems like a (failed) deliberate move to an early-drinking style. Plenty of other 2021 reds at under $20 I'd prefer to drink instead and have bought instead.

I tried one of mine tonight - it's not great. Something funky going on with the oak.

Very good price. Be aware though that 2020 was not a good year for Barossa shiraz. Langtons rate it as 6-7 out of 10.

I bought it despite being 2020 vintage. On the back of being one of the best wines in the world according to this article 2 SA wines named amongst best in the world and Huon Hooke giving it 96 points
