What cheeses me off

Doing the washing today. Husband has a cold, I say did you check your pockets? Yes he says. I have been caught out before so rechecked his shorts pockets, nothing.
Hanging our the washing, ugh didn't check the shirt pocket. Its amazing how one tissue can shred into so many tiny pieces. Looks like its snowing!
It's not his fault. It's the curse of the XY chromosome that us mere males have to live with. When you asked him, did you say "Did you check your pockets", or "Did you check your pockets there is nothing in them"? Big difference :)

Mine doesn’t do the forgotten tissues but coins.
Washing machine doubles as an ATM

Even if it’s in the phone’s wallet, you usually have to enter the CCV manually… at least for iphone.
Mine was in my iphone wallet. I had never use it to pay anything that way.
I always used the physical card it I was at a business. And when buying anything online I always had to manually enter the expiry and CCV

So your comment is worrying @MEL_Traveller. How did they get my CCV?

But but…. you didnt ask which pockets were checked on which piece of clothing, when they were checked or how many were checked. Need to be more specific.

He might have checked a couple of his trouser pockets yesterday (maybe not even the same pair of trousers) 😉

1 I do my own laundry
2 I carry a pack of tissues on my early morning walks
3 It is bloody hard ( but ultimately rewarding) to look through the pockets of 10 pairs of shorts for tissues before loading the washer

You get someone else to pick up your Apple order (as in technology, not the fruit) , that you ordered from your account (because you aren't around to do so), not only does the invoice generated populate the "Ship To Customer" field with the name of the person collecting the order but it also automatically populates that name in the "Sold To Customer" field, and they can't fix it. 😡

So this means you can't claim GST when exiting the country and you can't claim it partially back from your employer under their flexi-benefits policy for health related items (which allows partial claim of sports trackers, including Apple Watches, Fitbits, Garmins etc).

So cancelled and had to re-order and have it delivered instead.

And it was for me, not the person collecting it, not trying to fraud the ATO or my employer, which is why I ordered it from my account in the first place.

When booking a fare using a QF FF login, Qf assumes that the ticket is for the same FF holder.
Started booking a J fare to AKL next year
Then got called away
Came back to redo the booking
The J sale fare dissapeared but it is in the booking which QF is holding until 23:59 for me to complete.
But I don't want that booking under my name. For tax purposes it would be better under Mrs QS name.

Any ideas other than ringing QF to release that holding or getting QF to change that name?

WCML - Hotels need a physical card on check in and can't use your mobile wallet...i wanted to tell them i didn't have one just to see what would happen, but wasn't in the mood for bull
I was in that situation last year and did have a card in my wallet but the guy next to me checking in just said I don't have a physical card do you want me to cancel the booking and they let him go
