Booked myself and my son in J, seats 7K, 8J on QF8771 (AKL-BNE)

Created a new booking for my daughter using her QFF number as she decided at the last minute to come. Have managed to allocate her 7K on the same flight!

Logged in and out a number of times as assumed I've made some mistake / going mad - but I definitely have 7K allocated twice - once to me, and once to my daughter.

Interestingly, she also seemed to have the same seat choice as an NB as I did as a WP upstairs on the 380.

Call QF and make sure they've issued tickets properly!

I would think it's more a case of seat selection on QF being generic. It is emirates where you should be doing your seat selection for this flight, not QF.

That'd be a bit odd - QF gives me a seat map, shows me the occupied seats - it just isn't correct....

I've looked at both bookings, and since spoken with our Reservations team about this example.

Bad news - this is an unusual situation (the supervisor had not come across it before)
Good news - it can be fixed (there are still plenty of seats available to suit your requirements)

Please call the Premium Desk at your earliest convenience to reconfirm the arrangements.

Let me know how you go, and if I can be of further assistance. :)

Thanks Red Roo, I wasn't really concerned (if my kids end up on the opposite end of J, they won't hassle me for overindulging :) )

Just wanted to flag it up as a possible bug - whether a codeshare or not, it shouldn't really happen.
